Grange houses the biggest sellers in February

Both the largest open and local market sales in February were properties on The Grange, out of the total of 99 property deals which went through court last month.

Mesnil Brock, at 3, Brock Terrace, in the Grange, is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom open market property laid out over four floors, which was initially listed with an asking price of £3.25m., and ultimately sold for £3.07m.

On the other side of the road, Rosewood was sold on the local market for £1.75m., having first carried an asking price of £1.95m. The detached six-bedroomed property was described by estate agents as an ‘iconic listed town house of distinctive classical lines and traditional proportions’.

Mesnil Brock was one of nine open market house sales made over the course of the month, four of which were to newcomers to the island from the UK. The median price of these nine properties was £1,852,500, up from £1,560,000 in the fourth quarter of 2025 and £1,700,000 in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The median house cost for local market properties over the month was £538,687.
