There were 46,362 passengers flown on the route between January and August 2026, compared to 42,543 over the same time period in 2025.
Aurigny started the service following the collapse of Blue Islands in November last year.
Jersey Chamber’s visitor economy chairman Tim Crowley said it had been a welcome development and praised the airline’s ‘reliability and service levels’, highlighting their role in ‘the overall visitor offering’.
The boost to inter-island air passenger traffic also came as welcome news to Guernsey.
‘The growth on the Guernsey-Jersey route reflects the importance of inter-island air travel for both visitors and islanders,’ said lead marketing officer at Visit Guernsey Zoe Gosling.
‘It also plays a key role in encouraging and developing two-centre packages which benefit both islands’ visitor economies, enabling visitors to experience more of what the Channel Islands have to offer – and there is clearly demand.’
Aurigny has pointed to reductions in air transport fares and the reliability of its service on the route this year as significant factors driving the increased success of the inter-island route.
During the period, 99% of its planes completed their journeys as per the published schedule.
