Products made by 25 artisans, pumpkin lanterns made by the crew, food in the cafe and a professional pumpkin carver will all be on offer at the event which raises money for the charity which offers job opportunities to adults with learning disabilities.

‘We will have a huge range of different goodies and in the cafe we will be serving tagine, bean jar, hot dogs and things like that,’ said Grow director Marguerite Talmage.

‘The shop will also be open and we have a whole new range of things in there.’

The crew have made about 50 pumpkin lanterns especially for the event.

‘The crew all drew their designs on paper and the team then interpreted that onto a box,’ said Grow general manager Mandy Mackelworth.

‘Some of them carved them themselves.’

‘They were super popular last year,’ added Sue Robinson, who has been involved in organising the market.

‘They’re all a bit different, which is nice too.’

On the day there will be additional parking at Capelles School.

This Saturday Grow will be hosting a volunteer day from 11am.

Anyone interested in finding out about volunteering with the charity is invited to visit Grow for coffee and cake as well as a tour and introduction.
