Watson up to 69th in world rankings
HEATHER WATSON has climbed 23 places to 69th in the world rankings and is confirmed as the new British No. 1 following her run at the French Open.

The Sarnian begins her grass-court season this week and will face Canadian qualifier Aleksandra Wozniak, the world No. 135, in the first round of the Aegon Classic at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham tomorrow.
The winner will meet either Kurumi Nara of Japan (WR39) or British No. 3 Johanna Konta (WR110) in the second round.
