Watson at the double as Colombians strike back

THE title fight is set to go down to the wire after Colombians evened the score with the champions to one round apiece on Saturday to join their big rivals on 21 points at the top of the table.

Matt Watson's men, who lost the first of three meetings between the two teams this season 3-2, knew they had to capitalise on Indies being without a couple of their star men this time around and they did just that.

However, they were made to work hard for their 2-1 victory as once again the big-name players in both teams came to the fore in a big match – none more so than Watson himself.

He scored both his side's goals and although Steve Waldrom's piledriver pulled one back for Indies with quarter-of-an-hour remaining, Colombians hung on to clinch a result that already seems likely to set up a winner-takes-all third and final clash between the top two which is scheduled for Valentine's Day.
