Must-win game in relegation battle
GUERNSEY are now in must-win territory as they go into a massive relegation battle tomorrow.
Jordan Reynolds, the GRFC director of rugby, said that his side have earmarked their remaining four home games as 'achievable' victories in their quest to rise off the bottom of National Three London & South-East and out of the bottom three.
The first of those games at Footes Lane is against 11th-placed Westcliff tomorrow.
'Basically, we have got to win it. It doesn't matter how we do it, we just have to win,' Reynolds said.
However, that is easier said than done and the coach admitted his side's inconsistency has frustrated him this season.
'There's been no consistency in our performances between those against the top teams and those against the so-called weaker teams.
'Against those bottom sides we have not performed at all, but when we play the top teams we tend to pull a big performance out of the bag.'
The game kicks off at 2.30pm.
