The British No. 1 recovered from losing the first set to beat 11th seed Elina Svitolina in the second round 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 and earn a meeting with American Sloane Stephens today.
'I think the crowd today was louder than I think I have ever heard them here at Eastbourne for one of my matches. I just loved every minute of it,' said Watson.
