'There is more to come' says Whalley

THE first hurdle has been cleared by a comfortable distance as Guernsey set out on their quest for a fifth straight EH Men's Trophy final.

Andy Whalley's side saw off last season's EH Vase runners-up Crawley 5-0 yesterday afternoon at Footes Lane and the Sarnian player-coach issued a warning to the other teams in the competition that there is plenty more to come from his side.

'We have a couple more gears to go,' said Whalley, who scored twice in his side's victory as did Sam Dawes with Steve Waldrom netting the other.
