The Guernsey club had most of their young guns back for this inter-island clash and they did much of the damage as the visitors were skittled out for 149 by an almost-exclusively slow-paced bowling attack.
Alfie Gallienne was on the mark from the off and within his first four bowlers he had removed both openers, Sonny Derrien and Theo Vautier, thanks to his accuracy.
Left-handers Will Taylor and Jacques Van Der Walt put together the biggest partnership of the Walkovers innings, adding 35 for the third wicket with the latter looking in particularly good nick, but the introduction of Freddie Forshaw from the Blanc Bois end quickly led to wickets starting to tumble once more.
Taylor chopped the leg-spinner onto his stumps and Theo Bell was done in the flight either side of drinks before Gallienne’s return from the de Beauvoir end brought instant dividends as Van Der Walt was castled for 26.
Just three balls later, having got off the mark with a glorious drive for four, Dan Birrell was guilty of not running his bat in, having been called through for a single, and was run out by Forshaw’s direct hit.
Elliot Corbel was providing resistance with some lusty blows as he cleared the ropes three times and added four fours in his 43 at quicker than a run-a-ball, but he would be one of two wickets for Adam Martel when he holed out to Luke Le Tissier at deep mid-wicket.
The Island all-rounder also had Kadeem Caddle smartly stumped by Ed Le Prevost while Le Tissier picked up a scalp, too, before Forshaw finished off the innings with his third.
He then joined his captain in getting the run chase off to a solid start with an opening stand of 50 before Martel motored to a rapid half-century, hitting seven fours and three sixes in his 66 not out, as he and Philip Smith saw Irregulars home with more than 14 overs to spare.
In Jersey, league leaders Farmers-Caesareans extended their unbeaten record with a six-wicket win over Wanderers, chasing down 224 in 33.1 overs.
George Joannou hit 92 with six fours and five sixes for Wanderers.
