Pride of Guernsey: A 'superstar' and 'an answer to a prayer'
AN OSTEOPATH described as a 'superstar' and 'an answer to a prayer' has been nominated for the Angel of the Year Award.
Dimi Argyros has been nominated for the award, which is sponsored by Ravenscroft, by Sue Rees.
Sue said her son had been unwell for 15 months suffering from glandular fever and headaches.
'Dimi has been amazing,' she said.
'She is an answer to a prayer and an angel so deserving of an award like this.
'She never gave up in believing that we could get our son well.
'No matter what her work and family commitments, she will always find time to help when it is needed.'
Dimi was described as going 'above and beyond the call of duty' and 'an inspiration', helping Sue's son gradually recover his health.
'Our son is now doing so much better and we are so grateful to her. You don't often meet people like Dimi, but when you do, you know that your life will be richer.'
