Neil Forman, Ray Marshall, Martyn Roussel, Greg Archer, Neil Shepherd and Michael Henderson have jointly written to the UK Government regarding their claim that the States acted in a discriminatory manner when supporting women-only events in the run-up to the election.

Mr Marshall said the matter was ongoing.

The group hoped the UK would step in as Guernsey was a Crown Dependency and supposed to obey the law, he said. He declined to comment any further.

On a guernseypress.com blog post, Mr Forman said they sent the letter after having not received an 'adequate response' to their complaint from the States.
