The Dolphins, La Route de Jerbourg, was open to the public on Friday, Saturday and yesterday, and the last chance to look around is today.

The property belonged to Anne White, who died last year, aged 93.

Now her daughters, Julia White and Alex Haining, are arranging for the contents, which include Victorian treasures and items brought back from India, to be sold.

The auction is taking place tomorrow and is being held by Martel Maides.

Manager of Martel Maides auctions Jason Yendell said Saturday had been especially busy, with some cruise passengers also having a look on Friday.

'On Saturday, people came up with picnics,' he said.

'We have been blessed with amazing weather.'

The house is open from 10am-5pm today. The auction will be held at the Auction Rooms, Cornet Street, St Peter Port. Lots 1 to 251 will start at 10am, and lots 301 to 587 will start at 2pm.
