Same-sex marriages allowed in Guernsey from early May
Same-sex marriages will take place in Guernsey from 4 May after the States backed the final pieces of legislation this morning.

The law to enable same-sex marriages will come into effect two days earlier.
Couples need to obtain a licence from the Greffe, which allows marriages one clear day after giving notice.
