The three-tier structure, set to be brought in next month, will see the airline offering a ‘light’ option, a ‘smart’ option and a ‘flexi’ top fare – the latter of which will allow people to book a maximum of two bags as hold luggage.
While the price of the Flexi option will be the same as the current flexible fare, Smart will be £18 more than the current lowest available fare.
The cheapest option, Light, will be £10 less than the current lowest fare.
The airline said the new fares would also give added benefits to those who choose all but the cheapest option, such as being able to change a ticket free of the £40 charge and the free booking of seats in advance.
