Confirmation comes with the Prospect union, representing the island’s civil servants, back around the negotiating table after the threat of an industrial disputes tribunal.
Deals have, though, been agreed with approximately 1,000 public service employees.
Deputy Jonathan Le Tocq, pictured, who leads the Policy & Resources Committee on employment matters, said that all staff in the island’s two fire services, States employed doctors, and prison officers had accepted a deal ‘on similar terms’ to that which Prospect initially rejected.
This will see those employees receive a £400 increase in their salaries.
