Aimee Sarre, who works at Butterfield, received a worldwide excellence award from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners for achieving the highest mark globally in the Step advanced certificate in trustee investment and financial appraisal.

Awarded the Step diploma in international trust management with distinction, she is now a registered trustee and estate practitioner.

‘Step is the trust industry’s leading professional body so I’m proud to receive a worldwide excellence award from the organisation.

‘Completing the diploma has increased my skillset and knowledge of the trust and fiduciary sector and has provided me with the relevant tools to progress my career at Butterfield Trust. It’s also enabled me to network and build relationships with other industry professionals,’ said the trust administrator.

A number of other Butterfield employees have also completed industry exams.

Trust administrator Lydia McClean has been awarded the Step diploma in international trust management with distinction.
