As of yesterday afternoon there were 23 cases reported in Alderney, while Guernsey had 17.

Of the cases in Alderney, 22 have arisen from an outbreak which started on Thursday, when three cases were reported from community seeding.

One Alderney case was an inbound traveller.

With two people recovering in the last two days the Bailiwick as a whole now has a total of 40 known active cases.

A statement from the States of Alderney said that a slight calculation error had been identified in the past couple of days but this had been rectified and accurate figures were now on the gov.gg website.

Source testing is being conducted in Alderney based on venues where seeding may have occurred, and the Alderney Sailing Club has now been added to the list of venues.

Health & Social Care has also asked anyone who might now be in Guernsey and was at any of the locations identified to get in contact.
