Four members elected unopposed to States’ senior committee

The new Policy & Resources is now in place, with its president getting her picks for the States’ top political team.

Jonathan Le Tocq, Charles Parkinson, Steve Falla and Gavin St Pier were unopposed as they were elected this morning to fill the remaining four seats on the senior committee.

All four were put forward by new president Lindsay de Sausmarez and seconded by Mark Helyar.

Deputy Le Tocq receieved 35 votes, Deputies St Pier and Parkinson 31 votes, and Deputy Falla 30.

There were two blank papers.
