Brittany Ferries CEO on its ‘natural fit’ with Guernsey

Six months into its new contract with the States of Guernsey, Tony Curr has been to Roscoff in France to speak to Brittany Ferries chief executive Christophe Mathieu.

Two things have stood out in Guernsey this summer — the sunshine and the sound of French being spoken in St Peter Port.

October marked six months since the start of Brittany Ferries’ 15-year contract to provide our ferry services and the company has reported a big growth in the number of passengers, particularly day trippers, travelling from Saint-Malo.

Tony Curr has been to its home port in Roscoff to find out more about the first full season, the future of the island routes, and the ethos of the business itself from CEO Christophe Mathieu.
