Peter Leigh and Ian Chatting-Tonks first appeared in the Magistrate’s Court charged with several offences in July. They reappeared in court yesterday to enter pleas for the first time. The offence dates back to 2018.
The court was also told that the dog belonged to the latter.
Leigh, 73, a former publican and taxi driver, who has previously stood as a candidate for deputy, also pleaded guilty to possessing seven extreme pornographic images involving the animal.
He has also admitted that he and a woman behaved in an indecent manner on the East Arm of North Beach, and at Portelet, Torteval.
The defendants also entered pleas to matters that they will face in the Royal Court. Leigh admitted two sex offences and three of sending indecent messages via the telecommunications network.
He also asked for other matters to be taken into consideration when he is sentenced.
Chatting-Tonks, 63, has admitted one charge of sending an indecent image via the telecommunications network.
Sentencing of both men was adjourned until January so probation reports can be prepared. They remain on conditional bail.
