It is consulting on the proposed changes until 8 February.

The night bus changes will see all four routes extended to take in more stops on Friday and Saturday night services.

Also included in the proposed changes is the removal of the evening S services, to be replaced by extra standard route services; the removal of the 60 service to Perelle and changes to the 61 route; shortening the 71 route; cutting the 94 route and making the 93 more frequent; extra services on route 95 to improve airport connections; and the end of the P2 bus service, which connects the Bridge and town through an inland route.

The 51 and 52 routes are also set for change, cutting out Admiral Park and the Bouet and instead serving the hospital, Footes Lane, Beau Sejour and the harbour terminal. They will also become more frequent.

Full details of the proposed changes are published in today’s Gazette Officielle. Staff from the island’s bus operator Stagecoach will be available between 4-6pm next Tuesday and 12-2pm on Wednesday at its offices on the Albany to discuss the proposed changes.
