The site of the golf course’s new country club at Vazon has laid dormant for several weeks after the steel frames of the building appeared at the end of last year.
Rihoy & Son’s signs and equipment disappeared at the start of January.
A spokeswoman for the site owners confirmed the change of contractor.
‘Work on the next phase of the country club construction has begun,’ she said. ‘Following completion of the steel structure earlier this year, Rok Construction is now on site to continue the redevelopment.’
The Jersey-based construction company is currently also working on the Les Ozouets Campus – the new home of post-16 education on Guernsey.
The country club and health suite are due for completion in early 2027, with the golf course itself due to be opened in August this year.
