The RAF events team has also confirmed that the Dakota from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be joining the Reds in the skies above St Peter Port. Organisers are now working with private display teams to build up the full flying order.

‘We know how much the Air Display means to the community, and securing aircraft of this calibre helps ensure the 2026 event will make for another memorable evening,’ said flying display director Barry Neal.

‘The Red Arrows are always a huge draw with islanders and visitors, and the Dakota adds a unique sense of history and heritage to the evening, making for a really special combination in the skies over St Peter Port.’ Sponsorship and supporter packages for the display are available, ranging from corporate friends from £850 to individuals at £17.50.

‘As ever, the display relies on the generous backing of local sponsors and supporters and this is becoming more challenging each year.

‘Every contribution, whether from a business as a sponsor or an individual supporter, plays an important role in helping us deliver the event and we’re very grateful to everyone who helps make it possible,’ added event organiser Natalie Davidson from Black Vanilla.
