This year will mark the second time that the event has been hosted, returning once more to Vazon Bay following a successful debut last year.
‘We’re delighted to be bringing the Family Colour Fun Run back for a second year, once again with the fantastic support of Network Insurance and Financial Planning,’ said head of fundraising Sara Edmonds.
‘Last year’s event attracted more than 400 supporters to Vazon Bay, creating a wonderful atmosphere while raising vital funds for local families.
‘We’re looking forward to welcoming even more people this year for an afternoon of fun, colour and community spirit.’
The event – a family-focused fun run where participants are set upon with powder paint – is open to families and supporters of all ages and fitness levels. It aims to raise funds for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation, which provides support to local families with premature babies and critically ill children.
‘Last year we raised almost £4,000,’ said Ms Edmonds.
‘The weather was on our side and some families dipped in the sea afterwards. It was lovely to see the community come together.’
