Sumner shines in win over Wales
CHRIS SUMNER was the home star as Guernsey defeated visiting Wales in a tight Dinner Boxing encounter at St Pierre Park on Friday night.

There were also wins for Billy Le Poullain and Casey de la Mare in the 6-4 home victory, but it was Alderney's Sumner who shone in particular.
In arguably the best display yet of his burgeoning career, he defeated light-welterweight Joe Jones with a high-class display.
As for Le Poullain, he will be in action again on 7 December when he represents the Western Counties team in a match against the Army in the UK.
There was not such good news for James Woolnough on his return to St Pierre Park after a year's absence, as he was beaten by Welsh ABA middleweight champion Jamie Evans in the night's last fight.
