BRADLEY WATSON will have to wait to have his shot at the English super-flyweight title as next month’s international show in Jersey has been cancelled.

The 27-year-old Guernsey professional was due to take on Loua Nassa on the undercard of a show at Fort Regent on Friday 24 November.
It had been set to be a big Channel Islands affair, as top-of-the-bill was due to be Jersey fighter Danny Kennedy against former Commonwealth champion Willie Limond for the vacant IBO inter-continental title.
However, it has been announced this week that the show has been cancelled and, although there are hopes of re-arranging it for some time in the new year, that is far from certain.
The mud-slinging between both sides has now begun, with promoter Dennis Hobson and Fort Regent officials blaming each other for the cancellation.
