The 17-year-old came out on top of an entertaining all-junior DJW Prestige Vehicle Sourcing Island Women's Championship final 3 & 2 against 16-year-old Lily McNeela.

Both played some outstanding golf in bright-but-breezy conditions at L'Ancresse, with Gaudion taking a 3 up lead after the opening 18 holes and she then extended it to 5 up early in the afternoon round.

However, McNeela fought back and won four holes in a row to reduce the deficit to just one at 26 holes before Gaudion stemmed the flow and closed out the match with two holes to spare to win the De La Rue Trophy.

In the lower divisions, Jeanette Riley beat Kimberley Girard 4 & 3 to win the Coutanche/Darling Trophy while Jill Pritchard overcame Dawn Marley 3 & 2 to lift the Lindsay Trophy.

Meanwhile, Conor McKenna completed the double as he added the Island junior boys' crown to the men's title he had won a week earlier by beating Jayden Tucknott 6 & 4 in their 36-hole final.
