Marley senior was given a walkover in Sunday's preliminary round with Orlando Abreu ruled out by other commitments and will now face his son, who is also the top seed for this year's event.
Another four-time winner, Danny Blondel, also faces a tough opener after Sam Le Huray came through his preliminary round tie with Tim Halden, winning 3 & 2 at L'Ancresse.
Arthur Evans beat Lewis Blondel in a tight match, 3 & 1, to complete the top half of the first round draw and will now play Island men's team captain Dave Jeffery.
In the bottom half of the draw, Royal Guernsey junior captain Alex Mills needed 17 holes to overcome the challenge of Tony de Sousa 2 & 1 and will face third seed Rory McKenna on Tuesday while Ashley Northgrave required an extra hole to defeat Philip Slocombe to earn the right to face second seed and two-time former champion Jamie Blondel.
