SANDPIPER has sold Manor Stores for more than £3m. However, the company has reassured customers it is committed to the island and that the Iceland store will stay open.

And it says any leases for other businesses based at Manor Stores will also remain in place under the new site owner.
The site was sold by Trade Savers CI to GDM Property Ltd, which is registered at the Rohais Health Centre, at the start of July.
A Sandpiper spokesman said customers should not be concerned about the business.
'Sandpiper CI has always focused its interests on retailing and, since taking over the former CI Traders, has divested much of the former company's property portfolio,' he said.
