Town Church hosts royal wedding

A PRINCE with links to Russia's Catherine the Great and England's King George II wed his bride at  Guernsey's Town Church on Saturday.

Nicholas Galitzine, 595th in line to the throne, said 'I do' to his now wife Angela, nee Thompson, who has been a life-long family friend.

Family and friends celebrated the couple's nuptials, including two of Prince Nicholas' three children, as well as grandchildren.

The Galitzines are descended from the Russian Romanovs.

Britain's Royal Family, to whom the the Galitzines are also related, gave them permission to use their titles in the UK.

The couple had their reception at the OGH and plan to honeymoon in Canada.
