Local market prices and sales still falling says Policy Council
GUERNSEY'S average local market house price at the end of the second quarter of this year was nearly 7% lower than for the same quarter in 2014.

Prices continue to fall and sales are also dropping compared to last year, latest figures have shown.
The number of sales during the second quarter of this year were the lowest since figures were first recorded.
In its quarterly residential property prices bulletin, the Policy Council said the mix-adjusted average purchase price for local market properties in the second quarter was £436,971 – 2% lower than the previous quarter and 6.8% lower than the same quarter of 2014.
It is the second consecutive quarter that negative annual growth has been recorded since measuring mixed-adjusted purchase prices.
