Craig Allen, who left the job he had held since 2008, without notice, on 4 December, is suing the bank, claiming it breached his contract of employment.
The Royal Court will have to decide whether his resignation from Credit Suisse (Channel Islands) Ltd was justified.
The bank deny any breach.
