The 58-year-old has not been seen since noon on Monday and the search for him today enters its fifth day.
The St John Ambulance and Rescue inshore boat was sent out yesterday to cover an area of the coast from Pleinmont, opposite the Hanois lighthouse, towards L'Eree.
Senior officer Carrie Goodall was on the cliffs liaising with the coastguard and coordinating the inshore boat and its team as part of yesterday's search, but it had not uncovered any fresh information or clues.
She said the inshore boat had been requested by the police, and launched for the second time, as part of this extensive search operation, which remains ongoing.
