Asian Hornet nest found in Alderney
A MATURE Asian Hornet nest has been found and destroyed in Alderney – with fears that more could now be established.

The nest, located at the top of a sycamore tree on Water Lane, was found just a couple of hundred metres away from a smaller one which was discovered in June.
Asian Hornets were seen for the first time in Jersey, Alderney and the UK this year.
They feed on honey bees and can destroy a hive in hours.
