Tina Smith and her daughter Beckie, who were unable to disclose full details due to potential legal proceedings being taken against Boulangerie owner Reda Karim, pictured above, took back the keys to the premises last Tuesday.
An open sale of the cafe's furnishings was organised on Saturday evening, which they said would continue until the majority of the remaining tables, chairs and utensils had been sold.
Mrs Smith, who said they had not spoken to Mr Karim in four months, felt there had been no choice but to take action after a 'stressful past few months'.
