The 17-strong choir from Uganda, together with its adult entourage, will bring its Signs and Wonders tour to Les Beaucamps High School for a series of concerts over tomorrow Sunday 23, Monday and Tuesday.

The high-energy blend of music and dance is described as 'the sound of a transformed generation from a family of orphans'.

Although there is a strong Christian ethos running through each performance, organisers of the local concerts are confident that exuberant approach can be enjoyed by all.

One of the performers is 12-year-old Robert Ddamulira, an orphan who was taken in by the Watoto community and given a home, and education and a new purpose in life.

Since joining he has developed a love of performing.

'I love touring in Signs and Wonders because I know that I am changing people's lives,' he said.

The concerts at Les Beaucamps High School take place tomorrow at 10.45am and 6pm and on Monday and Tuesday at 6.30pm. All the concerts are free and people can simply turn up, with no booking required.
