Manche Iles is 'preferred bidder' for inter-island ferry route
MANCHE Iles has emerged as the preferred operator of an inter-island passenger service this summer.

Economic Development president Charles Parkinson confirmed its choice this morning.
The committee has run a joint tender exercise with the States of Jersey, but it recently had been criticised by three of the companies involved.
Those who had been unsuccessful were informed earlier this month, according to Deputy Parkinson.
Manches Iles has in the past used two boats to connect the Channel Islands and Normandy.
