Juliet Veron lives in Les Clos au Comte Road.
She spent three weeks creating her display, which each year gets a little more impressive as she thinks up a new addition to the collection.
This year it is bows.
‘I thought, well what can I do this year, something new. I know, bows, they won’t take long will they?’ she said.
‘Well, actually it takes about two hours per bow, so for the last three weeks I have been putting them together and now I’ve got over 20 around the garden.’
Last year saw Mrs Veron, with the help of some children, build two larger-than-life reindeer which now stand tall in her back garden – one of them is eight feet high.
‘Then the year before the reindeers I made the Believe sign, which took me a few weeks too,’ she said.
‘I guess I have just been amassing my collection really.
‘I don’t really know why, I guess I’m just potty for Christmas. I’ve been doing it over the last 30 years and each Christmas just do a little more. Since moving into where we live now I thought we have the space, so why not do something with it for the festive period.’
Mrs Veron’s display can be found about halfway up Les Clos au Comte Road on the left.
