France is now one of 12 countries and four regions on the list, which means if a traveller returns with any coronavirus symptoms, they need to self-isolate. So far the country has seen more than 200 confirmed cases and four deaths, and this week 120 schools in the north of the country were closed over fears the illness could spread. Condor offers regular sailings between the Channel Islands and St Malo. 'At Condor, we take the health and wellbeing of passengers and crew very seriously,’ said a company spokesperson.

‘We are monitoring the current situation and remain in regular dialogue with the States in both islands along with French and UK authorities. There is no change to advice for sea carriers, so our sailings are operating as normal and standard terms and conditions on tickets and travel continue to apply.’
