War Memorial wreath destroyed

THE WREATH laid by the Bailiff at the war memorial on Liberation Day has been destroyed.

The Bailiff Sir Richard Collas with the Guernsey flag wreath which was laid at the war memorial for the Liberation Day commemoration service. (28248295)

Guernsey Police officers are currently investigating the destruction of the wreath which was placed at the memorial at the top of Smith Street, St Peter Port.

On social media they said: 'We share your outrage about this despicable act.'
