‘We’re open’ reminder from Grow Ltd crew

GROW LIMITED has moved to reassure its customers that it is still open for business at its temporary home, as it gears up for a busy festive season.

Grow Limited has moved to a temporary site at Avondale Vinery in Oatlands Lane while the redevelopment is ongoing at its home in Rue des Coutanchez. It has reported a drop in customers so the managers and crew have issued a reminder they are open for business and prepared for a busy festive season. The Guernsey charity has noticed a drop in customers since moving to the Avondale Vinery site on Oatlands Lane, while its usual home at Les Petits Quartiers, in Rue des Coutanchez, is redeveloped.

‘We are very much open for trading,’ said assistant manager Jess Aughton.

‘This temporary site is a good base for us, with plenty of parking, and we’d really encourage people to come down.

‘The transition went well, with all the crew members getting a chance to visit the new site before the move.’

Crew members are preparing pots for gifts and working on homemade bird boxes in preparation for the charity’s Christmas Fayre on Saturday 11 December, at which booked customers will have an opportunity to take part in a wreath-making workshop and children will be able to do Christmas crafts.

The charity is due to remain in Oatlands Lane until the spring of 2023.
