As the popular programme returns to ITV from 9pm next Monday, local viewers may recognise the familiar face of the island-raised 27-year-old.
Mr Le Page, a keen cricketer for Optimists in his younger days, attended Millfield School in Somerset. Nowadays he has been working in real estate in Dubai Hills.
He is understood to be already in Spain for the show, and close friends in Guernsey yesterday declined an interview.
‘I’m actually single for once, so I thought why not?’ he told the programme. ‘This is the best time to give it a go.’
This summer sees the eighth series of the reality TV show, which sees single islanders spend up to eight weeks in a villa in Mallorca, where they ‘couple up’ with each other with the aim of winning £50,000 and potentially finding true love.
‘When I’m with someone I’m very loyal, I’m a good boyfriend as when I’m with someone I’m all for them,’ Mr Le Page said.
