Ruby posed with a cardboard cut-out of Queen Elizabeth II as her mother Racheal Day took a photo.
‘It was so lifelike,’ said Mrs Day.
‘I showed the picture to my mum and she asked if the Queen was really in Guernsey.’
They entered the picture into a competition for Look Good Feel Better, a charity where Mrs Day works as a lead volunteer.
The organisation teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
The charity asked its UK-wide volunteers to send in their favourite Platinum Jubilee celebration pictures.
Ruby and her family were thrilled when they discovered the photo had won first prize.
She received a basket of beauty products.
