Total registrations have now reached 25,323, surpassing where they were in April 2020, when they had reached 25,119.
In total there were 31,301 sign-ups in 2020, but a new roll was opened on 1 December 2024, meaning that islanders need to sign up again.
Registrar general of electors Colette Falla said it had been going well.
‘We were always expecting a spike of sign-ups to take place in the final days of the roll being open, and it is positive to see the numbers surpass where they were at this point in the last election cycle,’ she said.
The electoral roll closes at midnight on 30 April.
