The 390-tonne, 316-passenger high-speed catamaran is currently onboard the cargo ship Eemslift Hendrika on its journey across the Mediterranean.

‘This was the milestone to reach and so we’re really excited now that the ship is on its way and in line with our project delivery timeline,’ said CEO Chad Murray.

‘Bookings so far have been really positive.

'It’s still early in the season and we need to provide confidence for people, so once the ship is here and the service is up and running, we can start showing people that we are here each day, delivering.

‘We believe June will be a month where we can demonstrate to people that we can deliver what we say we can deliver.’

Once the boat arrives, there will be a period of 10-12 days for checking it, installing any equipment which may be needed and doing compliance checks.

The seven-strong crew will be familiarised with the vessel, then it will under go sea trials and berthing trials in both ports.
