Its ferry will operated up to two rotations a day, five days a week, with capacity for about 300 passengers on each sailing.
The boat carried about 27,000 passengers last year and the company is aiming to increase this number significantly this year.
‘We’re very pleased to be launching the new season and building on what was a strong first year for the service,’ said CEO Chad Murray.
Visit Guernsey’s lead marketing officer Zoe Gosling said: ‘Improving connectivity between the islands is an important part of strengthening Guernsey’s visitor economy.
‘Services like this make it easier for visitors to extend their stay and experience more of what the Channel Islands have to offer.’
Island Unlimited is also strengthening its links with the UK market through its partnership with Brittany Ferries, which it hopes will help open up the Channel Islands to visitors who want to visit both Guernsey and Jersey.
‘There’s a real opportunity to support tourism across the islands by making it easier for visitors to experience both Guernsey and Jersey, and we’re looking forward to playing a key role in that this year,’ said Mr Murray.
The partnership strengthened connectivity across the islands, said Brittany Ferries Guernsey’s sales and marketing director Paul Acheson.
And Islands Unlimited is continuing to work closely with event organisers and sports teams to ensure sufficient capacity for key fixtures and major events, while also supporting tourism-related travel throughout the season.
