This compares to 2,298 in 2023 and 2,070 in 2022.
But there has been significant fluctuation in the types of crime seen within the figures.
There has been a sharp increase in sexual offence reports, which made up nearly 10% of all reported crimes in Guernsey.
But public order offences dropped by a fifth, to 40 reports last year.
There was a sharp rise in drug offences, with 80 seen in 2024, compared to 53 the year before. Possession of a controlled drug made up the majority of these reports.
Criminal damage offences remained stable, with 344 reports. Nearly a third of these were reports of damage to vehicles, while there were 68 criminal damage to property, and nine reports of arson.
There were 80 reports of burglary.
There was a drop in the number of thefts, from 322 to 268.
Just over 60 of these were shoplifting, which was a slight drop on the previous year.
Reports of violence against people also dropped slightly to just over 1,000.
Around half of these reports related to common assault on adults, while just over 100 were reports of assaults on young people or children.
Within this total there were also more than 150 cases of harassment and two reports of kidnap of a child. There were 15 reports of poisonings, and nearly 50 reports of assaults on police.
