A collision occurred between two cars in the morning at Le Val des Terres, closing the road for just over two hours.

All three emergency services were called just after 11.30am.

Sergeant Jon Walker, who attended the scene, said that the vehicles had been travelling in opposite directions.

‘All the occupants were treated at the scene for shock and minor injuries,’ he said.

‘No one was seriously hurt or needed hospital attention.’

Oils and other fluids from one vehicle leaked onto the road surface and were made safe by the fire service.

Sergeant Walker appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

‘Although we have taken statements from witnesses who observed the crash, we would still ask any other members of the public who witnessed the crash to come forward,’ he said

The road was reopened shortly after 1.30pm after both vehicles has been removed.
