The popular event, organised by Ben Le Page and Peter Reddall, is returning for a fourth year on Saturday 13 December.
Mr Le Page said for the first time they were asking people to sign up in advance if they want to drive in the event.
‘It will help us keep a check on who is attending,’ he said.
‘So far we have had about 10 to 15 sign up. Last year we had 108 and I’m hoping we will hit 100 again.’
The tractor drivers need to sign up by Wednesday 10 December and confirm they have a licence and their vehicle is insured and roadworthy, as well as pay the £10 to charity.
This year’s good cause is Ernie’s Angels, which provides financial assistance towards palliative and funeral expenses of children in the Bailiwick.
‘We like to support children’s charities,’ Mr Le Page said.
For the first time the event has commemorative wristbands, which will be given out in exchange for a donation to the charity.
The event will again start from Les Beaucamps High School, where the wristbands will be available and there will also be some food and drink stalls.
It is planned that the tractors will arrive at 4.30pm, but the public must not arrive before 5.15pm, as the tractors will be manoeuvring.
The vehicles will set off at 6.15pm and follow the same route as last year – going to Vazon and then clockwise around the coast. More detailed timings will be released closer to the event.
‘It’s coming together slowly,’ Mr Le Page said.
‘It is pretty exciting.’
