The site is owned by Walker Property, which submitted the planning application.

‘I am very pleased to say that planning permission has now been granted for 21 two- and three-bed homes at La Gibauderie,’ said CEO Eleanor Saunders.

Work to demolish the old buildings is 95% complete and the concrete cover slabs on the site are being taken up.

Next week will see the start of the formation of temporary haulage access roads along with setting out works. Mrs Saunders said they should be finished by the third week of February, when ground works and main road construction will begin.
